In Update 21: The Old Blood, Warframe Riven Sliver was introduced. Cephalon Samodeus created Riven Mods. Kuva Liches have broken down this ancient power into shards and hid them. With enough Riven Sliver, we can rebuild them into their former glory
Relics are usually from the void that contains Prime Parts to weapons and Warframes. Now we have a new Kuva variant called Requiem Relics that can only be obtained from Kuva Flood or Kuva Siphon missions.
Warframe Riven Sliver
These mysterious shards are obtained from cracking Requiem Relics on Kuva Fortress. Palladino, with her spiritual powers, has somehow tapped into this ancient power and learned how to merge the shattered pieces. Riven Fragments can be taken to Palladino who can then forge them into a full Riven.
Now I know what you thinking. Is this a way to reliably farm Riven Mods? The Short Answer is YES. But not quickly. Even if you have the right amount of resources Digital Extreme has once again reminded us that ninjas are playing for free.
How to Craft a Riven Mod
Crafting Riven Mods has been sought after since first being introduced with The War Within quest. Our prayers have finally been answered but not as we have hoped. There is a weekly limit to crafting. Tenno can travel to Iron Wake (on earth) and give 10 Riven Silver to Palladino to craft a Riven Mode once a week!
There is a lot of lore yet to be revealed behind all of this but as the content keeps flowing the lore will come with it. DE has not fully explained the origins of Riven Silver but when they do this post will be updated to reflect the changes.
